About kdalise
kdalise (you know that’s not her real name, right?) started halieus on a whim one day. If you ask her, she’ll tell you that it was more than a whim – it was a calling. She had a vision of Christians searching for something – something to do, somewhere to go, orders to follow. So, she got the bright idea of putting together everything she had learned from her years of involvement with campus missions, foreign missions, and community service to help Christians find what they were looking for. She believes whole-heartedly that the generation of Christians living today have a desire to fulfill the Great Commission, and that it goes hand-in-hand with meeting people’s physical, emotional, spiritual, and relational needs. (If you’d like an example, you can read this account of the early church.)
For some more mundane details: She went to college and got her degree in Political Science, after which she served as a campus missionary associate. After that she went to a faraway place across the sea as a foreign missionary associate. After about a year of making friends from China to Canada, and half the countries in between, she returned to her home in the U.S., where she currently resides. (If you’re one of those friends, she’d like you to know that she misses you very much, but she knows she’ll see you again sooner or later).
That’s kdalise in a nutshell. She’s pretty boring in person, but don’t make her angry in the comments or she’ll put you to shame with her witty retorts.
